In the past 24 hours, I have begun reconnecting with employees from Pages Software. Mike came over yesterday to help me put my patio furniture in the shed and will come back today to bring it out again. I can hardly wait to show him the Pages pictures, the Facebook page and "the Comment" Bruce Webster made on this blog. ( It's great to have comments here. Please comment. I will make sure Mike sees what is written.) This was the part of Mike's life I was most familiar with so there will be a bit more unbridled joy expressed. I was there when he got the money from his Bitstream settlement, his Nimbus Q settlement, all the debate about Windows vs Nextstep (wish we could go back and, oh well...the crystal ball was a bit cloudy, Darlin') through all the presentations to all the venture ('vulture') capitalists--from the beginnings to the too-soon end of Pages...and beyond. I am gathering stories, folks, so please let me hear from you.
Now that the hurricane is a non-issue and my shoulder pain has subsided again, I want to get back to writing.
